This was one of my favorite freelance projects, as I got to build everything from scratch with full trust from the client. That freedom allowed me to experiment and bring fresh ideas throughout the process—from Discovery and Definition to Prototyping, Validation, Build, and Launch. It also involved exploring a new field, requiring deep research and a strong focus on creating a unique user experience with a distinct personality.

Logopädie Praxis Ludmilla Müller is a newly founded speech therapy practice built around the client’s personal vision. She wanted to create a warm, inclusive environment that feels accessible, welcoming, and human-centered. Capturing the emotional connection and the therapeutic bond between practitioner and patient was essential to the design concept.

For me, this project opened the door to a new field—designing for a therapy-focused setting—where I translated complex, sensitive information into a clear and intuitive user experience. Accessibility (barrier-free design) was a core priority, ensuring every element was easy to understand and navigate for all users.

My role was to develop the project from the ground up, including:

Brand identity creation
Lean UX process: Hypothesize → Design → Test → Learn
Wireframing → Testing → High-fidelity design in Figma → Testing

Brand Identity

I proposed a hand-drawn style for the logo to highlight the human touch. It should feel friendly, warm, and unique—reflecting the collaboration between therapist and patient while avoiding a clinical or overly formal look.

Colors:
We used earthy tones combined with soft ocean hues to create a calm and grounded atmosphere.

Concept Development and Moodboard

The moodboard defined the visual tone of the project, focusing on warmth, trust, and a human touch. Natural textures, soft lines, and calming colors like earthy browns and ocean blues created a grounded and welcoming atmosphere. It guided the overall aesthetic and ensured consistency across the brand.
